An imbalance of female / masculine energy.
In the corporate world, I leant towards the masculine
I am much more balanced now with the feminine
We are always in the flow of energies - both men and women.
Masculine energy dominance can lead to stress - our nervous system is on high alert - leading to HPA dysregulation (referred to as adrenal fatigue).
Stress = massive impact on your hormones.
I found becoming a mum hard at first as I needed to engage my feminine energy. Some ways to do this:
➡️Receive - compliment, someone making you a meal, simply ALLOW
➡️Say YES when someone offers to do something for you.
➡️Have female only time - women's circles.
➡️Engage in creativity (more on next post)
➡️Nurture your body - nourishing food, rub oils in your skin, grounding.
This photo is of my second pregnancy. I surrendered to rest whenever I needed it. It was wonderful. The first pregnancy was commuting in London in summer heat, working late nights in my lawyer role and trying to fit in 3 exercise classes a week. Nice to reflect on how far I have come on this journey.
